2 NIGHTS SAMBURU INTREPIDS CAMP FLYING PACKAGE:

Samburu is famous for its dry, rugged and stunning landscape which is sensual and captivating, with its iconic loaf shaped Lolokowe Mountain and hills spreading in every horizon. Its life lung is the Usao Nyiro River coursing through its craggy terrain full of stone, thorn bush and the forked doum palms. In this arid zone where water is scarce and the land baked by the eternal sun, herds of elephants and the big cats roam the plains with the Samburu special – the Reticulated giraffe, Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the long necked antelope, the gerenuk easily seen despite its harsh climes.
The tented lodge is often cooled by the river breeze and the forest and the tents sit on raised decks overlooking the brown river where the elephants sometimes make an appearance or the crocodiles come out to lounge by the river’s banks
Day 1
Arrive at Wilson Airport for your scheduled flight to Samburu. The flight is approximately 1 hour 20minutes from Wilson
On arrival you will be met by the camp driver guide and transferred to the camp with a game drive en-route. Check-in and have lunch at the camp. Thereafter‚ enjoy an afternoon game viewing drive or choose to relax by the camp.
Day 2
You will set out just before dawn in search of game as you enjoy the stunning landscapes and sunrise. You will then head back to camp for breakfast and get to enjoy other facilities that are available at camp.
Later in the afternoon after lunch; you will embark on an afternoon game drive or you can choose to have an excursion or camel ride as you cross the Uaso Nyiro to the Samburu villages. In the evening you can have some silent moments just gazing at the stars.
Day 3
Enjoy a final early morning game drive before breakfast‚ after which you will be transfered to the aairstrip for your flight back to Nairobi.
